Bard went 0-for-3 in a rehab game with the AZL Padres.
Bard hit .111 with one hits in nine at-bats across three games with the Lake Elsinore Storm.
Bard hit .133 with two hits in 15 at-bats with the Portland Beavers, including a homer and an RBI.
2007
Bard hit .285 with five homers and 51 RBIs over 118 games with the San Diego Padres. In 289 at-bats, Bard notched 27 doubles while drawing 50 walks and striking out 58 times and posting a .364 on-base percentage.
2006
Bard made 50 starts for the Padres as the primary backup catcher to Mike Piazza, recording a hit in 41 of those starts. He established a career high in homers on Sept. 24 vs. Pittsburgh, with his ninth homer of the season. His .338 average (78-for-231) led all Padres hitters (minimum 250 plate appearances).
