| Gamel was chosen in the fourth round of the 2005 June draft. Hit .311 at Helena and West Virginia in his first pro season. He made the SAL mid- and postseason All-Star teams in 2006 and the 2007 postseason All-Star squad in the FSL. He was the Player of the Month for May in the Southern League in 2008. |
