| Biography: |
| Brantley was picked in the seventh round of the 2005 draft. He batted a combined .343 at Arizona and Helena that season. Hit .300 and posted a .402 on-base percentage in SAL in 2006. In 2007, he hit .335 at West Virginia to get promoted to Huntsville in Double-AA. Baseball America named Brantley the Milwaukee prospect with the best strike zone discipline. |
