| Biography: |
| He was a co-captain in 2006 as Oregon State won the NCAA Division I World Series title after being selected in the third round that June. He was the Pac-10's Player of the Year. Gillespie led the Pioneer League with a .464 on-base percentage and finished second in hitting at .344. In 2007, he spent all year at Class A Advanced Brevard County and was chosen a midseason All-Star. |
